Professional Experience

Robert Silverman, founder and principal, brings over 25 years of multidisciplinary experience partnering with non-governmental organizations (NGOs), government agencies, and community-based organizations, including Indigenous Tribes across the United States and Alaska Native communities.

His work spans environmental governance, sustainability planning, and natural resource policy, with a track record of advancing conservation, community development, and environmental resilience initiatives.

Robert holds dual Master’s degrees in Environmental Management and Natural Resource Economics and Policy from the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University.

He is currently completing a competitive one-year professional program in Tropical Forest Landscape Conservation and Restoration through Yale School of the Environment’s Environmental Leadership & Training Initiative, learning alongside a select global cohort of practitioners dedicated to advancing landscape-scale conservation.
